“Glowing sands”

Films: Battlefield 2025 (2020)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Eldritch Location/Desert

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Out there in the badlands of the southwestern part of the US, anything can happen. Isolation, madness, discovery, and everything in between. Today, all of that happened, with a nice helping of extraterrestrial murder.

History: It came from the stars, its ship malfunctioning and taking it out of cryo-sleep as its ship plummeted into the desert near a town in Arizona. A gaggle of mismatched witnesses happened to be there when it recovered, and for them, it was going to be a long night. This alien revels in the hunt, and will stop at nothing until every human in its sights has perished.

Notable Kills: Nothing special, though he LOVES his neck snaps.

Final Fate: After being chased by the alien for the entire night, one of them gets the bright idea of shooting the part of its armor that gives it air to breathe, distracting it long enough for the cop to approach it and unload a whole pistol's worth of ammo into its neck. It keels over, dead. The following morning, the survivors find that the alien's kind have come over to attack everyone on a global scale. The fight has only just begun...

Powers/Abilities: Aside from odd holographic technology of indiscernible usage, this alien has bulletproof armor, great strength, and a plasma blaster with more power than a shotgun.

Weakness: Rupturing its armor's air systems will cause it to go into a panic, giving an opponent enough time to harm his unarmored parts.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Instead of crap CGI, we have another cheap Halloween alien. Not a bad costume, but still noticeable. It probably would have been a bit scarier if they played up its odd glitchy glowing aspects a bit more.

Trivia: -The alien was played by Titus Covington. As of this writing, he doesn't even have an image on IMDB. Darn.

-It should probably go without saying, but there is nothing in this film that would indicate that it takes place five years from 2020, not even a bit of future tech or something. Was just moving it to next year not enough for you?!
